A first edition, in a printing strictly limited
to 100 copies, individually numbered, and signed by both the translator
and the artist, and 26 copies designated as artist's proofs.
Each volume includes eight original etchings by
Andrew Stevovich, individually hand-printed in the Center Street
Studio of James Stroud and bound with the text.
Howard Gralla, the book's designer; its printer,
Michael Bixler, and its binder, Jim DiMarcantonio, have long been
recognized in their respective fields of typography, limited-edition
printing and the binding of fine volumes.
This spectacular volume is an art object in itself.
